Want to get a No 1 position in search engines? Concentrate on your meta tags.

Meta tags are the information placed into the head area of the web pages. It is not seen by the visitor while browsing your web page (except Title Tag), some of the meta tag is seen while searching in the search engine or in SERP Result(title & description) . They are defined for the web crawler to understand the web pages.

There are many meta tags but some important and useful are :

Title Tag
Description
Keywords

Points that are useful while making the metas :

• Don't stuff keywords in the meta's, place according to the needs.
• Do not add multiple versions of keyword ie upper or lower case eg Mobile Phone, mobile phone.
• Use only one or two instances of any word (at most.)
• Title and Description shuold be descriptive so that it can define the web page.
• Make desciption attractive so that visitor click your website after reading the description and title.
• Title should contain only maximum of 2 to 3 keyowrds accoding to the web page .
• Title and description should be unique in every web pages.
